MAKARI

Makari (“Beautiful in Swahili”), was born in 1995 by Dr. Jacques François. Fueled by his passion for skincare, Dr. François founded Makari with the goal of creating luxury beauty products for women of color.

Dr. François partnered with the renowned Belgian chemist Gérard Pinault and launched the highly innovative Makari De Suisse line of products specifically formulated to address the needs of skin of color.

At the time many women of color resorted to using harmful chemical products to address skin issues such as discoloration. They were seeking gentle high quality products for their skin needs and Makari created the answer.

For over 20 years Makari De Suisse has offered luxury skincare products addressing the skincare needs of women all over the globe. From hyperpigmentation, excess oil production, hydration to anti-ageing, Makari’s revolutionary products aid in improving skin’s overall health and prevent future damage.
